Our theme, Resisting Racism and Colonialism, focuses on resistance to the structural inequalities and violence against Black, Indigenous and racialized peoples, examining social forces in the world around us while remaining self-reflexive about our own disciplinary practices. Panels, presentation sessions, workshops, and roundtables have been organized in 40 themes within the field of sociology. Professional development, social events, and research cluster meetings round out our expansive program. Join the more than 900 projected CSA delegates from Canada and abroad.
