The Annual conference of the Canadian Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (CAML) brings together librarians, archivists, and other scholars to explore all aspects of the profession as it relates to music. Sessions often consist of individual papers of 20 minutes in length followed by 10 minutes for questions. Panel discussions and group presentations are also welcome. A significant portion of the 2020 conference program will be dedicated to building a collective vision of the Association’s future as part of the 2-year strategic planning exercise led by the CAML Renewal Task Force. Presentations that contribute to this process -- through, for example, reflection on the past or future of the Association or music librarianship in general; new initiatives in music collections, services, and facilities; and changing practices – are encouraged. As a bilingual association, CAML invites proposals and presentations in both French and English.
